Postdoctoral Fellowship at PPGQ/CAPES PNPD

The PNPD/CAPES, CAPES National Postdoctoral Program, is a program of institutional grant that finances postdoctoral internships at stricto sensu Graduate Programs (PPG) recommended by CAPES.

The number of fellowships offered varies according to the criteria defined by CAPES, which consider the PPG’s quadrennial performance, areas of strategic support, location of the HEI, among others. The PPG contemplated is responsible for selecting and monitoring the fellowship holder, as well as defining its objectives and activities.

PNPD/CAPES objectives

I – to promote high standard studies;
II – to strengthen national research groups;
III – to renew the graduate programs (PPG) at higher education and research institutions;
IV – to promote Brazilian and foreign researchers at a postdoctoral level, stimulating their integration with research projects developed by the graduate programs in the country.
