Registration at UFRGS

After the first enrollment, if you aren’t a former student of UFRGS, you should go to Central de Identificação (Identification Office) (Annex 1 at Rectory – 110 Paulo Gama Avenue – in front of “Bar do Antônio”) to have your ID card made. Your ID will be made there, which is needed to access the University Restaurants (RUs), borrow books at the library and computer labs.

With the ID card number, the student can also have access to the Student Portal, where you can find all your academic information. At the Portal, it is possible to confirm your enrollment at UFRGS, course transcript, and class schedule, as well as make your enrollment each semester and get documents such as Certificate of Attendance. The ID card number is also used as a login to virtual learning platforms such as Moodle.
