The Laboratory of Technological Processes and Catalysis develops research in the areas of catalysis, organic synthesis, polymers, materials, ionic liquids and nanoscience and nanotechnology. Catalytic processes are developed for the preparation of biofuels, biomaterials, fine chemicals, polymer nanocomposites and polymers, and the chemical recycling of polymers. Nanomaterials and polymers are produced by innovative synthetic strategies.
