Cheminformatics for Comprehensive Two-Dimensional Chromatography
This short course covers visualization, processing, and analysis of data produced by comprehensive two-dimensional chromatography. Topics include:
- multidimensional data acquisition and representation;
- 1D, 2D, and 3D visualizations;
- data processing operations, including baseline correction;
- blob/peak detection and visualization;
- features, metadata, and annotations;
- mass spectral data and chemical logic expressions;
- analyte pattern recognition and identification; and
- sample pattern analysis and recognition.
Students will have the opportunity to do hands-on analyses of comprehensive two-dimensional chromatograms with the GC Image software suite.
